Show the World that You're a Christian

July 15, 2018

James has been showing us that faith without works is dead…

But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.”  Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.  (James 2:18)

There was a line they kept repeating when I attended Bible College:  “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”  Jesus showed people He loved them by meeting their physical needs.  That made them more receptive to His teaching.

Do you want to show the world that you’re a Christian?  They won’t see it in what you say.  (Lots of people talk a good game.)  They won’t see it in what you believe.  (People can't see inside your heart and mind.)  They will see it in what you do.

Today’s Good News is that good works is a good way to witness to the world.  Our faith can be demonstrated by our works, so that the world can see that we love Jesus.

Now, go share the Good News…
